Trip to Barcelona July 2011

In July a friend of mine and me went for a three days holiday to Barcelona and we completely fell in love with the city. It was nice and warm while we were there. The day we arrived we went shopping and I discovered a shop I really like, Desigual. Of course the next day we wanted to explore Barcelona. First we found a guided tour by buss which lasted most of the day. It included a trip to Park Güell, some well known churches and Sagrada Família. Repeatedly through the tour we were given information of which buildings the well known architect Gaudi had designed.

The building of Sagrada Família was started in March 1882 and is yet not completed. We were a bit disappointed that the tour did not include a tour inside the church.

I was sad to leave Barcelona. I fell so in love with this city that I’ve already ordered my ticket to Barcelona for next year and then the plan is to go inside Sagrada Família .
