Tour to Indonesia January 2011

At the beginning of the year my family and I went to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, for two weeks. It was very different from Norway, very crowded and lots of traffic. The motorcycles were weaving in and out of different lanes, totally disregarding which side they passed the cars, often with several passengers on the bikes.

One of the days while we were there we went to a safari park where all the animals went freely, except some of the predators which had large open areas. It was new to me to drive through the park while feeding the animals. On the same day we stopped by a factory were they made tea and got an explanation of the process.

The last few days we went to two islands, Sepa and Putri Island to experience some warm weather while having the possibility to go swimming.

I had a wonderful time and I wish to return someday.
