MAGIC FOUNTAIN, Barcelona

Spectacular! If you are in Barcelona you have to see this fountain and the Show! They call it the Magic Fountain(font Magica)!

Its a huge fountain that plays music and changes colors during a time period. The water goes up and down, fast, slow, around, and in ways you did not think was possible! The colors are unique and in the dark they create a very special light! 2600 Liters of water are pumped through this fountain every second!!

The fountain is located close to plaza españa. You can take the green or the red metro to get there. When you get up, you start walking towards the huge castle that you see between the two towers. Plaza españa is something you should see during the day to ofcourse, but the fountain is only special during the night.

Its not open all the time, but here you can se when you can go to se this:
Operating hours from 30th April to 30th September:
Thursday to Sunday, 9pm – 11:30pm
Musical displays: 9pm, 9:30pm, 10pm, 10:30pm and 11pm Operating hours from 1st October to 30th April:
Fridays and Saturdays, 7pm – 9pm
Christmas and Easter:
Thursday to Sunday, 7pm – 9pm
Musical displays: 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm and 8:30pm
