Faces of Poland: Rymanów Zdrój near Bieszczady mountains

Rymanów Zdrój is one of the most beautiful health resorts of Poland. It is situated in valley of the River Tabor among the green hills of Low Beskid, the most wild mountain range in Poland.
Rymanów Zdrój fascinates by its antique architecture, splendid micro-climate and fresh air. There are very valuable mineral springs and people from all Poland goes there to drink that water to be more health, so there are many sanatoriums and guest- houses. The water is free for all people.
Cultural, sport life and tourism are also functions of the resort. The area of Rymanów Zdrój constitutes a perfect sports and recreational base. There are many sport objects available like an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, many pitches and a ski lift in winter. If you prefer passing the time differently, you can sit on one of the benches in the charming park, lie around on the riverside or arrange a bike trip or a picnic in the forest.
I write about this place because it is my hometown and when I go there it is always the best and the most beautiful journey for me. When I was younger, there were bears in the forest and there is a place where I and my family have heard the bear that was going to us among the brushwood. We have run away but I was very frightened and after this I have not been there for ten years.
Now bears are in another place in Bieszczady mountains, so I have been this spring in the forest . Thanks to spring and breathtaking view it was incredible beautiful experience. I have met a bear, but it was made of wood!:-)
Many natives have rooms in their houses to rent for the people that come to Rymanów Zdrój to have a rest. Very often guests want to try to do host’s job on the fresh air. My family have only a small garden, not a farm, but it is also very good to do very interesting things – for example last time I have cut with my sister a thuya. It was a great life experience for me :-).
When somebody is looking for a calm and quiet place with bird singing and incredible smell of spring flowers, Low Beskid and especially Rymanów Zdrój is the best!
