La Boqueria

Do you like going to markets?

Well if you do, you should go to La Boqueria in Barcelona! This is a huge food market in the centre of Barcelona. You will find it on the right side walking down "La Rambla" to the ocean.

The market is pretty big, and they have all kinds of different food there, fresh sea food, fish, meat, candy, fruit, chocolate, bread and spice's. When i say fresh, I mean that they are stil alive when they lie on the counter. At first they might look dead, but when you walk up to take a closer look, you can se that the crabs are moving!

If you like fruit smoothies i also recomend getting one at this market. They only cost 1.50€ and they are really good!

Walking around looking at all the food is a nice experience, and some parts may even be a little wiered. In the meat department you can find almost all the parts of different animals.

Well I have been there many times and I will prabobly go back soon.
