"La playa" The beach in Barcelona

I took the metro down to Barceloneta and started walking towards the sea. A head of me i could se the blue water and the sand. It was a little windy so you could feel the breez in your hair. I walked all the way down to the sand and looked out over the ocean. I was standing on the beach in Barcelona looking out over the sea. There were a lot of people around me, both in the sand and on the pathway. It was my first time ever going to the beach during the day. I was really impressed with the path that they had created a long the sea side. They had made one out of wood, and one in concrete so that you could choose where you wanted to go. There were also a seperat road for people on bickes! Walking a long the sea, I pased a lot of restaurants that look really nice and are prabobly really expensive. On the beach there were also people playing games and making sculptures out of sand! Some of them were actualy really good, and what they made was pretty impresive.

If you go to Barcelona, the beach is something you must se! Its just nice to take a little walk or to relax in the sand. In the evening, all the fancy restaurants on the beach, turns intro Bars and Clubs, so then you can se them by night also!
