The coolest hotel in Kiev, Art Hotel Bakkara

We booked this hotel because it was located close to the Dnipro River which flows through Kiev, When we got there it turned out that it was not near the Dnipro, it is located on the Dnipro.

The hotel are built on a barge floating on the River. Inside there is not much that resembles a boat, but when we open the door and go out on the patio or deck or whatever it is called, then we are truly maritime.

The rooms are big, nice and modern with stylish interior and large beds.

The hotel is located close to the city senter, but not in walking distance. The best way to get there is to take the metro to the station Dnipro / Дніпро then walk 5 minutes to the hotel, remember that there are no elevators at subway stations so if you have heavy luggage you have to rely up on some carrying.

The price pr. night starts from just under 70 euro for the smallest rooms. Rooms with a view to the river is slightly more expensive than the rooms overlooking the city, but they are also more picturesque with the river flowing outside. A good hotel option in Kiev ..
