The wind is blowing in my face and the boat is cruising over the water. I look up and i se the wonderfull Seven Sisters! They are only a few meters from the boat and i can feel the mist from the water running down the hillside. On the other side i see the Suitor which is also called the Wooer. These are two of the most famous waterfalls in Geirangerfjorden, which is actualy on the UNESCO Heritage list. The Boat takes us all the way to the end of the fjord before it turnes. Whereever you turn your head there are huge mountains. Going back to Geiranger we also pas just a few meters from the huge cruiseships. The boat we are on are from a boat company called FjordGuiding. They take you out on a 1 hour long guided trip in speedboats that take about 20 people. When i first saw Geirangerfjord i thought it was really cool, but after going on the boat, i knew that i really had experienced Geirangerfjorden at its best! FjordGuiding was excelent for the extra kick that i was looking for. Because these boats can go pretty fast you also have to wear a floating suit. The guiding gave interesting info about the waterfalls and the old cabins along the fjord where people used to live. The service was excelent and i strongly recommend this trip and Fjordguiding!
