Rica Bergen is located on the south-west corner of Smålungeren/Byparken, an excellent starting point if you want to explore Bergen; only a short walk to Torgallmenningen (Bergen city-center) and Bryggen(Bergen dock).

The rooms are nice, bright and clean; the staff is friendly and service minded, but the best part of this hotel is it's breakfast. Many Norwegian hotels are lazy when it comes to breakfast, but on Rica Bergen it's excellent. Many different fish-variants, Eggs in all forms, fruit-smoothies and a variety of other treats. While you eat, the staff is walking around, making sure you are comfortable and that your cup is full of coffee - really good service. And while you enjoy all this you can look out of the window, and up on Fløyen and Fløybanen - the mountain-viewpoint overlooking Bergen
