We are going to our annual visit to the amusement park Liseberg in Sweden. My daughter and I are totally in to it and try to get there every year. This time we are 11 people going. That is Kristi my daughter, her husband Tor Arne and their 3 children Emilie, Malene and Markus, Its Anne Gro the daughter of my sister and her children Karoline, Maren and a friend Kristin and her grandchild Thea Mathilde, daughter of Karoline.

We leave Norway in three cars, on the way the children shift cars, that way the long journey are easier for them. We are all exited about our trip We have been there so many times, some times they have new carousels and that is find but we are looking forward to the ones we know and remember the feeling that they gives us. The first day we are heading for a place to stay close to the park, that way we don’t use so much time driving to the park to morrow. We are going to sleep at Dalagärde Vandrehjem (http://www.st-jorgen.nu/). We can get to the park by bus, but we choose cars. It’s convenient because we have easily access to the car if we should need anything and it don’t cost that much, about 60 Swedish crones.

Dalagärde Vandrehjem is a nice but simple place to stay. Its god standard and the playground have equipment that actually works, and a swimming pool. We are going to stay for 2 days. You can have good meals here and a drink at the bar too. We have 1 room for 4 people; Markus can sleep in Malenes bed. And three rooms for two and two people. We have a good time and are so looking forward until to morrow and the next day. The youngest don’t know what to expect but he rest of us has good memory about earlier trips and we talk about Balder the big Wooden rollercoaster, Flume ride, The height fright, Lisebergs railway, the cannon, remember this and that, looking so forward to that one, all have their favourite. Mine is the old Lisebergs railway and of cause the Balder. I some time have gall on my back due to overdoing it. I am so grateful that my children and grandchildren love this as much as I do.

Markus was a bit sceptic at the beginning, we triad several things an even if he protested at the beginning he raised his thumbs up and made the parkhowl as the others do. And I was so happy.

It was a bit rainy when we arrived but it stopped and the day was perfect. We are loaded with anti stress against cuing; it will be cue that’s for sur. They are very good in cuing it feels like you move all the time but you are only going in circles. It is places to go for people who don’t care that much for the rollercoaster and the carousels too. You can visit the horror house; you just have to scream all the way. And the mirror house with the glass labyrinth at the end; each time I think no I am stocked in her. They also have a lot of very nice parks full of waterfalls and flowers, even a concert were the water is a great part of the music; it comes and goes in the rhythm of the music from several places. We assembles at different places to organise and eat, feel the need of being together and we splits in whom is going to go whit the youngest so all the grown up can have their turn in doing different things. Two whole days in the park, and no it’s not too much, not for enthusiasts like us. It’s time for small gifts for everyone and a last meal.

We eat at a Pizza restaurant were they have lots of different pizzas and you can eat as much as you like for 80 Swedish crones.
We have had a fantastic time and we are already looking forward to next year.

Hei Turi. Fint å lese om din familie tur som jeg har hørt så mye om. Hvor mange ganger kjørte du liseberg banen.

Jeg kjører så mye jeg rekker og noen ganger blir det gnagsår på ryggen av slikt.
