Trond exploring Norway part one

I've been planing for a long time to get to know my own country better. So when I got a real good deal on a Katie Melua concert ticket in Trondheim, I found the excuse I was looking for to start exploring :) I left home (Hønefoss ca 50 km north of Oslo) early in the morning on Thursday and started driving the 473 kilometers toward Trondheim, I drove across Dovrefjeld. The beautiful mountain urges you to stop for every 5 minutes to take photos of this breathtaking nature. I reached Trondheim about 5 pm and my concert started 7.30 so that gave me a little time to explore Trondheim. The day after the concert I headed toward Røros to take a look at one of Europe's oldest preserved wooden towns. My visit to Røros is also a separate story

After spending the day in Røros it was time to drive across the mountain toward Gubrandsdalen. though a colleague I had gotten hold of a ticket for Ibsen's Peer Gynt( Peer Gynt spelet ) an amazing outdoor theater at the shore of Gåla vatnet (also a separate story :) I also had a room at Fefor Høifjeldshotel(separate story) the road from Røros included a very beautiful mountain pass and I stopped several times to photograph sheep and other interesting things along the way. This mountain pass is called Friisveien and is a very nice scenery to drive in :)

on Sunday it was time to head home and after a short bike ride in the mountains surrounding the hotel i started the drive back home
