Mørkonga!

June 26,2009 me and two of my friends decided to walk Mørkonga to Migardkjenn and then a little further up to Gyri Haugen! We parked the car down by the road and started the hicking trip. This is a trip that is mostly just going uphill and it gets pretty steep. When you get close to the end, you actualy have to walk up a dent in the mountain. The mountain has splitt apart and made a path way that you can walk. There is also added a roap that you can use to hold on and pull yourself up with when the steps are really high. When you get to the top, you can walk out on a cliff and se the wonderful view of Ringerike and all the huge mountains faraway. We had packed a little snacks and some water in our bags so we sat down on the end of the cliff and enjoyed a little rest. We then walked on til we got to Migardkjenn and then over to Gyri Haugen. The road from here was also verry steep and a little slippery but by the help of some trees we made it up and down safe. On the way down we stoped by the water and went for a nice swim in the water. The sun was shinning and it was really hot so it feelt really good jumping in the cold water. After a while we paked our stuff and walked down a different road that was a little longer but less steep back to our car.

Its a great trip and i strongly adivse other people to walk it :) Just make sure you bring enough water and some snakcs on a hot day :)
